Our tax return came back yesterday. Needless to say, Dan and I were very excited. We paid a few bills and purchased a few essentials (new car insurance, eye exam and glasses for Dan, registration renewal for my car), and now we have a decent chunk of money left for…US! Tax refund season is like Christmas for us.
We had a great time shopping and picking out a few things for ourselves as well as one another. I talked Dan into getting us a waffle maker (one of those fancy self rotating ones), and Dan talked me into what a good idea a deep fryer would be. Can you tell we enjoy one another’s cooking?
So, we had our fun. Of course we got a few needed items and extra goodies for the kids. But we definitely enjoyed spending money on ourselves, without the guilt!
