My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. Stress affects everyone differently, and that truth definitely applies to us. For the past month, Dan has been himself…until we clash over something. Anything. Minor crap sends him into a rage, and the major crap sends him into an even bigger rage. He gets snippy very quickly, and cops an attitude over the stupidest crap. Like today, in the car. He momentarily forgot that we were going to the real estate agency before heading back to my mom’s (to pick up Ryan), and when I made a right turn instead of the left he got this very nasty, very condescending tone of voice. “Just where do you think you’re going? Well? You’re going the wrong way.”
Oh, how I wanted to just smack him silly for that. When I testily reminded him of our agreed upon destination, he backed off and immediately apologized.
Me? My sex drive has gone down the shitter. I’ve slacked off on exercising and pumping.
Sigh.
I can’t wait until this is all behind us. I am very eagerly awaiting stability and routine, even if it does mean boring. Boring is good. This kind of upset is bad, bad, bad.
