Me: I can’t wait to paint the kids’ bedrooms!
Dan: Ugh, painting? Can’t we do it after we move in?
Me: I want to do it before we move in, since it will be easier. And don’t worry, I’ll take care of everything. The prep, the painting, the clean up. You don’t have to do anything to help me with it, since I know painting drives you crazy.
Dan: Ugh. Okay. I’ll paint. But you do the prep.
Hehehe… it’s as if he was reading my mind. I meant what I said about taking care of the prep and painting and clean up myself, but I was dreading the idea of doing all that painting without help!
