This happened last night.
Dan saw that I had been struggling for several hours with getting a snippet of PHP code to work. He knew that I had been working on it yesterday morning (while he was at work), and for a few hours the day before (again, while he was at work). Instead of going to bed, because he had been up since 4:30am yesterday morning, he stayed up and helped me work out the bugs and get the code working…
…Even though he had never done anything with PHP before. Thankfully, between his background with java and c++ and my scant knowledge of how php should look, we were able to put two and two together and make what I wanted to work actually work.
One more reason to love him to bits.
