My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
Dan and I had five and a half hours to ourselves today. It was wonderful to be by ourselves, even though we spent those five and a half hours painting Ryan’s bedroom and Alyssa’s bedroom.
We did Ryan’s room in a light green – valley polar. And we did Alyssa’s room in a very light purple – fragrant lilac. I have a smudge of green in my hair, and I left light “boob prints” on the wall from where I leaned in too close while painting (damn DDD breasts!). Dan smeared purple right above my cleavage, and I gave him a dash of purple along his cheek. Fun times.
Anyway, we got the rooms completely painted. I’m heading over tomorrow night to touch up the trim in both bedrooms, and to paint our bedroom a light blue.
Comcast was there to hook up our cable and internet services. As usual, they screwed up, this time twofold. First, they submitted the work order for equipment, stating that we had three outlets. The reality is that we have the equipment, but we need the outlets – four of them. The tech was understandibly pissed, but really cool about it. He had a guy bring him a drill, and chatted with us while he was waiting.
Then, we get home this evening, and we have no cable or internet. Comcast shut off our service here, rather than leave this service on until March 25th. Idiots… so I had to call them (from my cell phone, outside since I don’t have reception in the house and our phone is through Vonage, which requires an internet connection) and point out their mistake. Oy.
Anyway, now it’s time for dinner. Ciao!
