A sad but funny and true conversation that just occured about a female character in wii’s Legend of Zelda.
Eleven year old brother: I think she’s pregnant.
Eight year old brother: Nah, she’s holding a box.
Me: She looks pregnant to me!
My mom: Yeah, she looks pregnant.
Dan: No, I think she’s holding a box.
My mom and I: What box? Her hands are empty.
We all watch her sit down in the “squat” position all pregnant women adapt, due to not being able to sit straight up.
My mom and I: SEE!? She’s pregnant! She’s doing that squat… thing. You know, because with the baby and all in the way you can’t sit up straight.
Dan: Well, that’s detail…
Me: Yeah, details we would obviously know about from being pregnant before!
