Speaking of postpartum…

After having my babies, I have to admit that I was disappointed at not being able to immediately fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. Of course, in the case of Ryan, the only pants I wore for about two weeks were my pajama pants, as there was absolutely no way I was going to tolerate anything pressing against my incision (c-section).
But with Alyssa, aside from being tired and worn out, and feeling like I had been dragged through a knot hole, I felt okay. And wanted so badly to wear some of my sexy, stylish jeans again. But it takes a bit for the baby pouch to deflate, and so I was stuck with my maternity pants for a few more weeks.
If I had known about b-buckles, I would have put them on my baby registry and made sure to have gotten them while I was still pregnant! b-buckles are sassy and sexy little elastic bands whose ends loop around the belt loops on either side of the enclosure for your pants. The band stretching across the enclosure for your pants helps to hold them shut, so there’s no ugly and embarrassing peeking of your underwear.
So, if you’re pregnant, or know of another woman who is, why not surprise her with these helpful little bands? Check out the site for the different kinds of b-buckles available, and be sure to enter “b-buckle buzz” in the comments section of your order for free shipping!
