My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
The washer and dryer were delivered to the house yesterday. They’re gorgeous. The bummer is that the company that brought them ripped up my kitchen floor (it’s one large vinyl piece) in not one but three different places. Grr. I got an estimate of about $600 to fix everything. The company told me to bring them the estimate tomorrow morning, and they’ll take care of it. They better! If not, well, I’m already geared up for battle. I will NOT make do with a damaged floor because of the carelessness of their employees.
Dan is home. We’re already figuring out how we’re going to run last minute stuff over tomorrow and Saturday, and then our plans for Sunday. Dan is going to get the uhaul at 11, and while he’s getting it I’ll pack up whatever is left lying around, and then load up that and other light things in the uhaul. Then he’ll go to get his brothers and then the three of them will go to their grandmother’s house to get the sofa and chairs. Meanwhile I’ll pack up the kids and go to my mom’s house and stay out of the way!
