Where did spring go to?

We had a few teaser days of gorgeous weather… day temps in the 60s, night temps in the 40s. Now we’re back to the raw, windy days. I don’t mind them, except that I forgot to turn the heat up yesterday night, so by this morning we were all freezing our butts off.
The trash collectors are idiots, as far as I’m concerned. I put out a garbage can full of trash and a cracked, white trash can full of trash. They emptied the white trash can and left it. I guess I’m going to have to squash it into the large garbage can to get them to take it. Grrr.
The kids are napping right now. I’m enjoying the quiet. I wish I could use this quiet time to get more done, but I have this bad habit of just vegging and doing absolutely nothing. Then, when the kids are up, I feel like kicking myself for not getting more done. Oh well.
