My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. We went to church tonight.
I haven’t been to church for over a year. I missed it, but it was hard to get back in the groove of things. A lot of people there are very conservative and also very-rolling-in-it type people, and I feel uncomfortable around them. It’s not that they aren’t nice… they are. But I don’t know them very well, and I feel like I’m in a completely different league than them.
But I did have a good time. The Good Friday service was heartfelt and poignant, and I really enjoyed it.
