Hello!

My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.

About Kitty.nu

Kitty.nu has been around for several years. Once upon a time it was home to my personal blog (you can find that over at Jenn.nu), but it now serves as an outlet for my domesticated and wifey type ramblings.

Texas ramblings and other things.

So, what is there to do in Texas? If I were to visit or move there, I would start out with checking out Dallas, as every state’s capital has at least one or two interesting things to check out and experience. webspace.utexas.edu/dtt56 talks about several things to see and do in Texas, including staying at a bed and breakfast, enjoying the food of various restaurants, dancing at various clubs, and of course, doing general sightseeing at parks and museums.

This site has other interesting and valuable information on many topics. Under the Work & Business heading they have a good article on finding jobs in Texas. After all, if you plan on moving to Texas, you’re definitely going to want to get employment! The article discusses how to go about searching for a job, checking classifieds, looking at online job listings, and even applying with the federal government for a job.

Under Technology & Health there is a good article that discusses the relation between yeast infections and yogurt. TMI? Perhaps. But let’s face it – just about every woman will experience a yeast infection at least once in her life. The article mentions a great DIY way to cure and even prevent yeast infections – using yogurt! Eat yogurt regularly to help regulate the bacteria in your body. And try douching or gently applying yogurt to irritated areas to help alleviate discomfort and cure yeast infections.

Lastly, another article under Technology & Health that really caught my eye is titled Famous photographers using digital. I have often wondered how professional photographers are taking their photos, and if many are still using manual film cameras. According to the article, the answer is no – digital cameras are clearly the better choice.

To read more of these articles and other articles, check out webspace.utexas.edu/dtt56. The site has a lot of articles, and there is surely something there to interest you.
