Did I mention the new fiasco with my kitchen floor? When they pulled up the flooring to replace it, they found that the sub flooring was molded and rotted in one small spot. Obviously, there was water damage. This is something that the real estate company that sold us the home and the contractors they hired to repair the home definitely spotted, but didn’t bother to fix.
The real estate company says, “Sorry, we won’t fix it because you bought the home as-is. Contact the service plan company.”
The service plan company says, “Sorry, but we don’t handle claims that are a result of water damage. Contact your insurance company.”
The insurance company says, “Okay, we’ll accept your claim and send out an adjustor, but if he/she finds that the damage was pre-existing, we will not cover it.”
This is me about to blow my cool. Seriously. @#(*^&@)!#^@)*$^@)$)@$)@#)^!@
