A little late, but here is this week’s Five on Friday:
1. If you’re out shopping and hear a baby cry, what’s your first thought?
I hope the parent is holding and attempting to comfort the baby. And then, hmm, I wonder if the baby is breastfed?
2. Are the passengers in your car required to buckle their seat belts regardless of age?
Definitely. I used to be more lax about it, but then I got into a car accident that would have killed me if I hadn’t been wearing a seat belt. That changed my tune real fast!
3. Do you ever feel the need to clean/straighten your loved ones? With your own spit?
Yes, but not with my own saliva – that’s what baby wipes are for! We have a box in each bathroom, two boxes in Ryan’s room, a box in Alyssa’s room, a box in each car, and small packs in each diaper bag. Needless to say, we are well stocked with baby wipes!
4. Some people are described as having “a face only a mother could love.” What people or things in your life do you love unconditionally?
That’s such a funny yet cruel saying.
And I love my family, husband and children unconditionally.
5. In what ways are you like your mother? What habits, catch phrases, and tricks have you picked up from her?
I’m very outspoken, but more aggressive. We nag the same way, and get frustrated over the same things.
