Hello!

My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.

About Kitty.nu

Kitty.nu has been around for several years. Once upon a time it was home to my personal blog (you can find that over at Jenn.nu), but it now serves as an outlet for my domesticated and wifey type ramblings.

Jenn goes grr

Category:

My brother’s school is a pain in the ass. Granted, he has been absent a lot this year. Granted, I’d say that 80% of those absences were needless, and all the fault of my mother, who can’t seem to drag her ass out of bed long enough to get my brothers dressed and off to the school bus.

However, the teacher and principal promised that if my brother could get four weeks worth of math work and some reading and science done and turned in within a few days, he would be allowed to attend a school field trip (to Philly) on Wednesday (now today).

So we picked up the work, and he spent four and a half days working on it, and turned it all in, and willingly re-did some of the stuff he got wrong and turned that all in as well.

Now? Now they suddenly do not want to allow him to attend the trip. I understand they’re angry at my mother and want to get back at her, but going back on their word and effectively punishing the child for the “sins” of the mother is not right. So I’m taking him to school tomorrow morning, prepared to do battle. And I’m telling them flat out – if they do not allow him to go on the trip then I’ll just have to take him to Philly myself. FUCKERS.

Why do you think your mom doesn’t make the effort to get out of bed and put him on the bus? It would absolutely suck if they don’t let him go, but something probably needs to happen with your mom as well. That’s a sticky situation to be in…
