1. How many times have you moved in the past 5 years? Why/why haven’t you?
Eight times. Why? Moving to Pittsburgh, back home for a bit, back out to Pittsburgh, back home, then to a small house, then in with my mom, then to another house, and now our owned home. OY.
2. Are you one of those people who thinks moving is therapeutic? (You know, a time to get rid of things you don’t need, etc.) Why/why not?
Yes and no. It’s stressful, but it is also very exciting to move and get a fresh start in a new home and a new neighborhood.
3. Do you prefer to move yourself, or do you hire someone to do it for you? Why/why not?
I would most definitely prefer to pay a company to move our things, but sadly our budget is more around the likes of renting a uhaul and paying my husband’s brothers $50 each and dinner to help us move. Sigh.
We just got back from the playground. Fun times had by all, though Alyssa screamed and cried and did the limp noodle routine all the way to the car. Sigh.
