Stop lending Mom money!
I lent her money last month, and she dicked around with paying me back, so my property taxes and insurance payment were both over a week late, resulting in a threatening letter from the former and a late fee for the latter.
Last Sunday I paid for $180 worth of stuff at Target. I told her today I needed that money back in order to pay my mortgage. “Oh, I thought you didn’t need it until June 1st!” was the answer I got. She said she would ask my grandfather for the money to give to me. She better!
