Have you heard about airambulance.net? This site offers visitors information on air ambulance services.
Air ambulance services are typically used to transport patients quickly and safely to destinations that are 1) too far to drive by ambulance or 2) within driving distance, but time is crucial. Such patients may include patients who have had strokes, are fighting cancer, heart and transplant patients, and other fragile patients. But Air Ambulance doesn’t discriminate – they offer the same level of attention and service to all patients, regardless if their condition is basic or critical.
Air Ambulance also offers private services for those who do not want to be transported by typical means. Another request Air Ambulance often responds to is transporting people who are looking for very specific doctors and practices, but find that these doctors and practices are well out of the driving range.
I think it’s great that such services are offered. Hopefully I’ll never have to partake of them myself, but it’s still nice to know that they’re there!
In addition to offering dispatch services (a 24/7 800 number can be found on the website), Air Ambulance also offers basic information on air ambulance services (there’s a hefty resource guide as well as articles), links to other related sites, and a message board.
