My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. Miss Lissy asked for earrings late last year. I put it off until mid January, and finally gave in to her incessant pleading for “ewings”. She did very well with getting them pierced, and never fussed or bothered her ears even after they were pierced. This past weekend we were out shopping and I decided to get Alyssa a pair of earrings. She picked out a set that consisted of blue, pink and white butterfly earrings, three jewel earring sets, and three plain silver ball earring sets.
This morning we brushed her hair, fixed it with pretty red and pink barrettes, put on a pretty silver necklace with a fairy pendant, and then changed her earrings. First she had in the blue butterflies. Now she is wearing the pink butterflies. I’m sure she’d love to wear some of the other ones, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to be changing around earrings so much, especially when I just took out the piercing studs!
