Listening to Brazilian Girl’s Jique… it’s a really hot song. I first heard it on a cell phone commercial. Verizon? AT&T? I forget which.
It’s been a quiet couple of weeks. The freelance work that came my way several weeks ago has kept me busy, but the money I am earning from it has taken care of a few very urgent, pressing matters. And if the work continues to come, which I am praying with all of my heart that it does, we can take care of a few more things that we were putting to the backburner – such as paying car insurance for the entire year, building a deck, buying a canopied swing and a swing set for Alyssa. The way it looks now, we’ll be buying a canopied swing, swing set and party supplies for Ryan’s first birthday early next week, along with a PS3 for Dan (I promised him one). After that, the year of car insurance and a few other things. After that I’m going to treat myself to a Macbook. I decided to wait until the operating system rolls out, which I read somewhere is supposed to be in the fall? I’ll have to check into that a little further so I know when, exactly.
I’ve heard it’s being released in Octobery.
