My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
Tonight I spent $352 and some change at Target. I bought a bunch of cleaning and household supplies, cat litter, and then, on a whim, I decided to re-decorate our bathroom. Thus far we had a purple bath mat and plain white shower curtain, neither of which went very well with the light pink wallpaper and pink counter.
So, I went on a re-decorating splurge. I bought four rose pink bath towels, four rose pink hand towels, a rose pink bath mat, and then creme de le creme, a Shabby Chic fabric shower curtain.
I’m so in love with our bathroom. It’s so… pink. And it coordinates!
I also bought a balloon style valence curtain (is that redundant?) for Alyssa’s bedroom. It goes much better than the initial plain white panels we had up.
I also bought a rose pink sheet set for our bed (300 thread count for $30!), a waterproof mattress pad (active sex life + kids + cats = you never know when there might be an “oops” of some sort!), two spare pillows, and wire shelving to use for re-organizing my kitchen cabinets.
I love, love, love buying stuff for our house!
