My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
I have spent the last three hours trying to transfer some files and a SQL database. This sound simple, right? Well, it would be simple… if Cute FTP wasn’t being such a huge pain in the ass and timing out on half of my files, and outright canceling (“file error”) on the rest. RARGH.
But, I’m chugging away. I’m tired though, and I need to get to sleep soon. My mom and I are going to Philadelphia in the morning to pick up some stuff for my dad, stuff that he needs here in [private], since he will probably be here for another few weeks, at least. He has been staying with my mom and helping her out with my grandfather. He originally came up on August 7th for a few days, to visit my grandfather in the hospital before he had his surgery. But then my grandfather wasn’t doing so well, in and out of ICU, etc. Finally released, and now he is very, very weak, so my dad has been helping him walk, get out of bed, get dressed, use a catheter, etc. (Sorry for the gory details)
Anyway, so, yes (I’m tired and actually typed out yesh – you know you’re tired when slurring comes across in typing), we’re going to Philly. We’re leaving at 11am, and should be back in the early evening. I hope you guys all have a good Sunday!
