My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. Alyssa loves her new swing set. That’s all she has been talking about since we bought it. She was stuck to Dan like glue yesterday while he was putting it up, and insisted on being pushed on each swing after he hung it. It was adorable, to say the least. Then, after her nap yesterday, I turned her loose on it. We were outside until it was dark, and then she howled as I told her it was time to go inside. When we went out a bit later to get some groceries, she called out a tearful goodbye to the swing set.
She is also potty training like a champ! She goes to bed in a diaper, but yesterday and today woke up dry! She tells me when she has to go, though sometimes she’ll just go on her own. Last night she took things a step further and went at my mom’s, where I had to help her perch on the regular toilet. Here at home she has a little potty chair. She is spending the weekend at my mom’s (I’ll be leaving in about a half an hour to take her over), and you better believe the potty and plenty of underwear are going with her!
