We went out last night with the intention of buying nail polish remover, a toddler swing and a three way light bulb. We came back with nail polish, nail polish remover, eye liner, two compact fluorescent three way light bulbs ($10 each, ack!), some meat, breakfast items, a new door knob for our front door, a new outlet receptacle, a $60 PS3 game for Dan and a new wireless keyboard and mouse set for my desktop. The damage? $250. Ouch. Oh, and the store didn’t have any more toddler swings. Go figure.
I also have another gig of RAM for my desktop. Sweet! I installed it yesterday, without breaking anything, including fingernails. For the laptop, I ordered 2 gigs of RAM. It only holds 2 gigs, and has 1 gig already, but that one gig is made up of two 512mb sticks. And since there are only two banks… yeah. I’ll probably sell those two 512mb sticks for $25 or so. We’ll see.
I need to go out today. I need to return the bland birthday party invitations and door knob we picked up last night at Wal-Mart, go to Home Depot to get a better door knob, stop by the party store for themed birthday invitations, and then swing by Target on the way home for a few other odds and ends – namely, a few note pads, vacuum cleaner bags, iced tea and some household cleaning supplies.
What are your Sunday plans?
