A few weeks ago I listed my T-Mobile Sidekick II on eBay for auction. A buyer immediately snapped it up via Buy It Now. I sent an invoice, heard nothing back. I sent two more invoices over the course of a seven day period. At that point, since it had been seven days since the winning of the auction, and that was the time limit to contact me to make payment or other arrangements, and I had heard absolutely nothing, I disputed the auction with eBay, left negative feedback for the seller, then re-listed the cell phone. Within an hour it was purchased, yet this time the buyer paid up immediately.
Today? I receive a message from the buyer. “I’m sorry, I’ll pay today”. Right. You’re a little late, buddy. Not only did I already report you to eBay and leave negative feedback, but the phone was sold and shipped over two weeks ago!
Where do these people come from? This guy in particular had no feedback prior to his winning of the initial auction. I checked his feedback today, after seeing his message. It looks like he did the same crap to another seller who was selling an Apple iPhone. What a loser.
What’s the worst eBay transaction you’ve had to deal with?
