My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
I’m feeling like quite the accomplished kitty today. All of my laundry is washed, folded and put away. The dirty dishes are all loaded into the dishwasher, ready to be cleaned once I drag the dishwasher over to the kitchen sink and hook it up (have I mentioned that I can’t wait for the day when I’ll have an integrated dishwasher?!). Dan, the kids and I went out to take care of Dan’s check, pay some bills, have lunch and stop by Target for a few odds and ends. We came back, and Alyssa played on the swing set while Ryan napped. She came in a while later, and we watched Tom & Jerry episodes for a little while. Then, she went down for a nap. I love it when she actually tells me that she is tired and asks for a nap!
While Alyssa was napping, I got a lot of “me” stuff done – organized some files, completed some work, did some research on a few things, made up a budget for the next two weeks, etc.
My mom will be over at any time. She called me a few minutes ago to let me know she would be delayed. Upon leaving a local fair, she got my grandfather’s PT Cruiser stuck, wheel lugnuts deep, into some mud. Hahahahahahaha. Okay, I’m done laughing. I think. Anyway, when I last spoke with her, a group of guys had given up on trying to push her car out and were going to fetch a truck and some strong rope and cords. She should be here soon.
