My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I still can’t believe that tonight was the first time I went to the movies since being pregnant with Ryan. As I remarked to J, it’s amazing how I have been stuck in Mom mode and haven’t done much else. But that is going to change, I swear. Tonight J and I saw Good Luck Chuck. After the movie, we went to a bar, where I enjoyed loaded potatoes and he had a turkey club sandwich with French fries. We sat and talked for a while and enjoyed drinks (well, he did – I stuck with ice water), and then parted ways. It was a good night, all in all.
I looked up two friends on MySpace and gave them my phone numbers. I hope to call the one tomorrow. We were all really good friends in high school, but parted ways afterwards, as work and relationships got in the way. They both live really close by, so it’s stupid to not get in touch with them again!
