Yesterday was a long day. Stupid me, and stupid Dan for that matter, chose to stay up until 6am Wednesday morning. We went to bed, and while he conked right out, I was up until after 7am. I was in a deep sleep when my mom woke me up a little after 9am. She was tired of my dad (her ex), hovering around her every single second, and so after she took my brothers to school, she came over to my house. Yes, at 9am. She rang the doorbell twice, pounded on the door and finally had to throw stuff at my bedroom window and ring our phone several times before I woke up. Yes, I was that asleep!
Anyway, I let her in, and she’s like, “Let’s go out!” I tell her I’m tired, so she offers breakfast. I compromise – “Give me another hour of sleep, and we’ll go”. That hour turned into an hour and a half. And then we left. That was at noon.
I got back when it was almost 6pm. That gave me just enough time to run around and clean things up, say hi to Ryan and give him a few minutes of play and cuddles, then peel him off of me and jump into the shower.
I went out again with Jason last night. We saw Mr. Woodcock (funny, though I liked Good Luck Chuck better), and then planned on going mini-golfing. Only… the mini-golf place was closed. So we went to the bar again, but it was too crowded. We settled on Waffle House, had hashbrowns and grits and some kind of steak sandwich, then came back home and watched Denis Leary. I went to bed around 1:30ish (something like that), while Jason hung around and watched TV with Dan for a bit longer.
I got up today at NOON. Ten hours of sleep makes Jenn feel good.
