Hello Monday. I slept in today. Imagine, four kids, all sleeping until noon. It was heavenly! And even though my brothers woke up a few minutes before I did, the place was nearly spotless. That is definitely an amazing feat. To top off this nice day, Dan worked a morning shift, which mean he is home now, rather than just having left for work.
I received a printer today that I will soon be writing up a review on. I haven’t yet done more than take it and all of its components out of the box, but I already know one thing I am going to include in my review: a complaint/criticism about the fact that there isn’t a USB cable provided, even though it is essential to use the printer with a computer. I realize that people can transfer items to be printed onto a memory card, which can then be inserted into the printer. But what if a person does not have a memory card? Or what if they want to use custom print settings that aren’t available when doing a basic print off of a memory card? Or what if the person would like to use the included software to customize their prints?
I’m sorry, but not including a USB cable with a printer is like not including a power cord with a computer.
And that ends my rant. Now, I need to go think about dinner.
I haven’t seen a printer that comes with a USB cable. They for whatever reason don’t come with one.
Yeah, I was going to say that any printer I’ve ever purchased has NOT come with a usb cord.
