I’m so bored.

It has been a week, and I am still getting used to not having glasses. Oh, don’t get me wrong, with the exception of some out-of-focusness caused by an astigmatism I didn’t even know I had until yesterday, I’m used to the contacts themselves, and putting them in and out. It’s not having a shaped piece of metal and plastic hanging on my face that I am still adjusting to. Whenever I go to put makeup on, I still reach up to remove my glasses. When I do dishes and get a little vigorous with scrubbing and rinsing, I still lean my head away from the sink, lest drops of water land on the glasses that are no longer on my face.
I am lame.
I’m also lame because I really like the free messenger bag I got from Star 50 Bags. It’s the New Hampshire messenger bag, and it’s doing a great job of holding all of my stuff, with room left over for whatever else I can manage to shove in there. Totally random: the phrase “ovulation station” keeps running through my head. I have no idea where it came from.
Also totally random: Simon is in my lap. He is always in my lap. I love it. Kirin is staring at me with an adoring expression from the sofa.
