My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. Add vanilla pudding mix to any type of cookie recipe to make it even better. Ergh. I wish I didn’t just write that. I have everything I need for chocolate chip cookies, except chocolate chips. I can’t go out to buy chocolate chips because Dan is at work, and my mother is borrowing my car. It’s times like these that I wish we lived in the city. If we did, the convenience store would be a five minute walk away, rather than a five mile drive away.
But I’ll definitely take rural living over city living. The biggest “crimes” around here are mailbox bashing, petty vandalism by teenagers and… that’s it. Probably domestic violence and assaults as well. But homicides? Robberies? Rapes? They don’t happen as much out here. In 2006, for our zipcode, there were zero, yes, ZERO, murders. How do you like them country apples?
