I hate winter because of what it does to my skin – namely, elbows, legs and feet. Winter means dry air, cold air, and dry skin. Not to mention the major static I deal with. I go around crackling everywhere, and shocking myself on everything! Anyway, I’m digressing. Today, this awesome stuff was waiting for me on my doorstep:
I’ve known of the existence of shea butter for a long time, but never bothered to try it. Frankly, I never thought about it. I knew friends of mine from school and different jobs used it, but I never liked the scents of the ones I encountered through them. But then I gave the shea butter from Shea Radiance a try. I love the packaging. It really pulls off the simplistic, natural aspect of shea butter. Let me tell you, THIS STUFF SMELLS REALLY GOOD. And it feels really good as well. I used it on my elbows, and on my legs, which have been dry and itchy lately (damn winter, damn forced dry heat/air!).
The tub that I have is of a very decent size, and I know it’ll take me a long while to use it all, especially since one “dose” is a dime-sized amount, and the tub has eight ounces worth. I think I’ll scoop some out and put it in a separate container to give to my mom. My brothers, technically my half-brothers, are half Egyptian, and have very dry, even ashy, skin, which worsens in the winter. I think they could greatly benefit from the shea butter.
Anyway, I’m going to back to watching COPs, and maybe try out some more of this awesome stuff.

I concur…….I’ve just ordered for the first time from Shea Radiance. I ordered a sample of the Shea Butter. Since I’m a die hard Shea Butter user, I wanted to sample it first. Weeelllll, needless to say, I should have bought a larger size. So you know what my next order will be!
I’d also like to add the prompt shipment of the merchandise, and the neatness of the packaging. I’ve already planned to re-use the bag my order came in for Christmas…
