My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
Vicodin is my new best friend. Percocet was my best friend after my c-section. Now it’s Vicodin for pain management after my wisdom teeth surgery. Since the surgery, which was on Wednesday morning, I haven’t done much, besides relax, drink fluids, eat soft foods like applesauce, Gerber baby food (the lasagna is divine!), and mashed up macaroni and cheese, and take my painkillers and antibiotics every four hours. I just took a shower and changed into clean clothes, and threw the bloody shirt and towels from yesterday into the wash. Hopefully the blood comes out. And if not… oh well. I chose the shirt I wore to the surgery knowing full well that there was a high possibility of getting blood on it.
Right now I’m waiting for Dan to get home (probably in the next fifteen minutes) and the Vicodin to kick in (any time now…), and killing time with working on Lavish. Now that it has been upgraded to the newest version of phpbb, its current theme got chopped all to hell, so I’m going back through and trying to make it look as it did before. No easy feat, considering I tweaked that theme back in JULY. Sigh. Speaking of upgrades! For those of you running phpbb powered message boards, phpbb3 is now publicly released!
