At least one of us had a clue

When Dan and I went shopping for our hot water heater last month, I had no clue what we were looking for besides a hot water heater. Well, besides the hot water heater, we wound up needing about $20 worth of pipes, connectors, special glue and a random assortment of other plumbing fixtures. I didn’t know any of this, and apparently neither did Dan. Thank goodness we lucked out and managed to snag hold of a Lowes employee that actually knew his butt from a hole in the ground.
I have to say, it is nice to have hot water. It wasn’t until we didn’t have any and I spent forty-five minutes simultaneously boiling and microwaving hot water to take a shallow, semi warm bath that I realized how easily you take certain things for granted!
