I came across bluecotton.com tonight. The site is really cute! It’s like a DIY t-shirt making site that can churn out awesome custom political t-shirts or any type of t-shirt with a few clicks.
To get started, I simply picked the type of shirt I wanted to make. I chose a short-sleeve Austin Raglan style, even though I was disappointed to find that it does not come in plus size (Dear Blue Cotton: please cater to us fat chicks; our money spends as well as the skinny chick’s money does!). I then chose a color – I like the chocolate. Then with a few drags and drops and text options and a few images and poof, I had the custom shirt of my choosing.
I really do like Blue Cotton. It’s a new site, so here is a suggestion for the owners: offer gift cards! I have two teenager sisters-in-law to buy Christmas presents for, and I’m sure they’d jump at the chance to make custom shirts for themselves that are actually stylish.
