Every little bit on television, usually the late night television I catch when I’m battling insomnia or staying late to get work done, I’ll see commercials that I remember seeing when I was a little kid. Same commercials, same actors, same everything. Two of those commercials that come to mind are the Miracle burn commercials and the “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” commercials. For the latter, we used to joke that my grandmother should get one. She never did. Before my grandfather went into the nursing home I seriously suggested to my mom that he get one, since he would be alone at home every day, and could fall and/or get hurt and we wouldn’t know about it until we went to check on him after not hearing from him for a while…
Speaking of television commercials, I think my all time favorite holiday one is the Garmin one!

“Where’s Chinese food, there’s Chinese food…” “Traffic’s a mess…” “Need a waxing now got a unibrow…”
(Sung to the tune of “Carol of the Bells” )
