Lately Alyssa has become very possessive of Dan. I can never seem to get a moment alone with him. 
Dan likes to joke about the Electra complex, and that perhaps there is some truth to it. Who knows? I can tell you that Alyssa is constantly vying for Dan’s attention, and it ALWAYS coming between us when we’re hugging, or kissing, or even sitting together or talking intently and/or intimately with one another.
I’d say she is just looking for extra attention, except that her seeming goal is to distract Dan from me, and not the other way around.
