I am in desperate need of new bras

I need new bras! In mid April of 2007 I purchased four rather expensive bras from Lane Bryant. Despite taking care of them according to directions — gently washing, laying flat to dry, the underwires have broken out of all four of them. The first one gave way in August. Two broke in October. And the last one finally gave out in December. Gee, it’s nice to know that almost $150 worth of bras are made of such good quality. *eyeroll*

So ladies! Help a girl out. I’m looking for 44DDD (yes, that’s three D’s – you read correctly! Being pregnant for a total of eighteen months and breastfeeding for a total of twenty-four months wreaked a lot of havoc on my breasts.
I like underwires, or some kind of shaping that offers spectacular support.

What are some good brands? Chantelle Bras? I heard of them while browsing the fine lingerie available at bitsoflace.com.

And while we’re at it, tell me something else. WHY are most plus size bras so damn BORING? Why isn’t something like this available in a 44DDD? Or even a 44DD? Heads up bra manufacturers: fat chicks like feminine, sexy and alluring bras too! Our fat doesn’t smother our ability and desire to be pretty and sexy!

I haven’t worn Chantelle bras myself but I also need some new ones. I just spent a nice chunk of money at VS the other day, including 1 bra. I have this tendency to wear 1 bra really frequently so it wears out faster
