My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
This week and the end of last week has been very frustrating for me. The server most of my sites were hosted on underwent a scheduled upgrade. Well, after the upgrade was complete, Lavish was gone entirely, and my remaining sites had been reverted to backups. I lost about a dozen posts between all of my sites. No problem, I thought, when I discovered the vanished posts Saturday morning. I’ll simply re-do them! Well I did, and they were lost again sometime between Saturday night/Sunday morning.
Lavish continued to be MIA until yesterday evening, when I got help from an online friend and her hosting company. She got Lavish transferred over and set up again, and I moved all of my sites (except for xoxo.nu) to her server as well. I’ve had a reseller with her since last fall, but only had a site or two set up on it. Now I have all of my sites on the reseller with her, and all of the sites I host for family and friends on my reseller with e-starr. Between backups and staying more organized, hopefully this kind of thing won’t happen again!
Today I’m going to work on a Valentine’s Day theme for Lavish. I have a few stock photos left over from last year; I’m sure I can find something good to use!
