Hi there! It’s Sunday and we’re broke, but I’m happy to report that all of our bills are paid, Dan is getting some extra memory for his computer (his brother should have it in for him tomorrow), and our fridge and freezer are bursting at the seams because of all of the food in them.
Speaking of memory… I have a 3gHz processor and 2gig RAM, but right now my computer is running slower than a seven year itch. I am running Firefox, AIM, MSN and Outlook, in addition to general startup programs – Norton 2007, HP monitor. The big slow down is the weekly backup I do of all of my files. Perhaps I should get another 2gig RAM? I’m impatient; I hate slow computers! :/
Last night we celebrated my grandfather’s 77th birthday. For one of his gifts, my mother gave me an old photograph of my grandmother to colorize. The photo itself was taken when she was 23, so… let’s see… this photo dates back to the early 1950′s I think!
The colorizing process came out really well! It didn’t look too good while open in Adobe Photoshop, but when the photo was decreased to 3.5″ x 5″ and printed out, it looked INCREDIBLE. Needless to say, my grandfather was very happy with it, and the beautiful frame it came in.
