It’s very quiet right now. Dan went to bed Sunday night with the beginnings of a cold, and dripped to work Monday morning with an accidental dose of Tylenol’s version of Nyquil. He came home early Monday evening, and after setting out dinner for the kids, I made a quick run to the grocery store. I have to admit, I’m very glad I left when I did, because I no sooner got to the grocery store when Dan called to inform me that Ryan had thrown up all over the couch. Timing came into glorious play again when I got home just a minute or so after Ryan had thrown up a second time. Since I can’t stomach vomit (no pun intended), Dan was wonderful and cleaned up the second mess, while I gingerly picked up Ryan and stripped him of his clothes, then washed his hands and face and offered him a few small sips of water to clear out his mouth.
So anyway. Ryan went to bed by 10pm. Alyssa was punished for peeing under her bed (why??????), and instead of getting to stay up late and watch cartoons we sent her to bed at her normal bedtime. And Dan is lounging about. Even the cats are laying around like lazy turds!

Thank you for the nice happy birthday wish!
You’re welcome!
She peed under her bed?!?!?!?
