[..] is not that fat isn’t seen as beautiful, but rather that a woman’s attractiveness in our culture, is still more valuable than her ideas and the person she is. And that’s what needs changing!
Truer words were never spoken. Insult me, my bingo flaps, my ass, my wide hips, my thunder thighs, the belly that has been made three times worse after having two children with only twelve months in between to “snap back”, with the last child lying in me sideways and then being cut out of me, rather than being birthed through my vagina. I am a fat girl. I don’t deny it. I never have, I never will. If it makes your day complete to insult me for it, then so be it. Like water off of a duck’s back.
But to treat me as I am less than worthy? To make me feel as though I am less than a person and thus not worth respect or even common courtesy, because of excess physical baggage? Completely, disgustingly unacceptable. And wrong. Very, very wrong.

I think it’s sad that some people have so little substance to their lives that they have to resort to making fun of other people for their entertainment! o.O
