So… it’s kind of hard to find a place to put a large photo printer that is over two feet wide, nine inches in depth and weighs close to thirty pounds. I didn’t want to leave it on the bookcase I set up, and with kids that like to climb on and clamber over just about anything that catches their eye, leaving the printer on the floor was definitely out of the question.
So I stuck the printer on the top shelf of my computer tower. Great solution… except that the entire paper tray area overhangs the desk, and I could just see one of my cats trying to jump up on that shelf, landing on the paper tray, and the entire printer tipping over and crashing to the floor. And with my luck, either smashing into my face on its way down, and/or taking out my $150 compact photo printer and 19″ LCD monitor with it.
My solution?
Bungee cords!

That certainly is beast of a printer! :O
Glad you found a way to cat-proof it, haha! I think bungee cords are quite possibly the solution to everything, in some way, shape or form!
