So I’m attempting to make Taco Bell style and tasting nacho cheese out of the following recipe that I found online:
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) package of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package of shredded cheddar cheese
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
The blended mixture is in the oven now. To be honest with you, the blended mix looked kind of like vomit, and the thought of heated cream cheese made me want to vomit. But who knows… maybe it’ll be quite tasty! I took a “before” picture, and I’ll be sure to take an “after” picture, and post again with the photos, as well as the opinions of myself, my husband and our friend Jason on the taste of the cheese.



To me, that sounds an awful lot like baked dip. For the texture and flavor you’re looking for, try melting Velveeta with chili powder, garlic powder and taco seasoning.
