My mom and I are at Panera Bread right now. Failcast restored our internet service yesterday evening, but I told my mom I would take her out for lunch today. She wanted to check out Panera Bread, just for the experience of using her laptop in a public place and checking out wi-fi, so here we are. We’re sitting at a two-seater booth, with our laptops and cell phones.
I checked the mail today. No IRS stimulus check. Some people are reporting getting their stimulus checks last week, and the IRS itself said it would be sending out batches of checks starting on Thursday, the 8th, so I was really hoping that we’d be lucky and find our $1800 check in the mail. But, of course, no such luck. :/
Has anyone received their IRS paper check yet?
