Dan had a dinner and awards ceremony to attend tonight. Originally it was just his boss that would be going, and the boss’s wife. Then the wife couldn’t make it, so he asked Dan to attend. Then, this morning, last minute, Dan’s boss canceled out. So I got to go. We were a little underdressed (thanks Jason for pointing out the typo!) – jeans and casual shirts while most of the other people attending were in suits and dresses and skirts, but we still had a nice time. The purpose of the ceremony was to recognize several employees of the company that had been there for ten years, twenty years, even thirty years.
Anyway, my buzz is wearing off. I had two drinks… fruity, with cranberry juice, pineapple and I don’t know what all else. But I felt nice and warm and fuzzy when we left, heh.
So… anyone doing anything exciting this week? There’s nothing really going on here. I’m bored!
