While I’m hiding from the sun (very bad sunburn from Sunday’s trip to the zoo), Dan is outside with Alyssa. They’re planting some wildflower seeds that were given to Alyssa in the childrens’ zoo section of the Philadelphia zoo. Dan just came in to relay some cuteness from Alyssa. She ran and got the water while Dan dug the hole, then came back and deposited the seeds. They covered them up with dirt, Alyssa watered them, then stood back, looked at the freshly dug and patted down dirt pile, and commanded, “Now grow!”
I’m sure she’ll be checking on the progress of her flowers every day.

Aww, I bet she will be checking every day!
I rememeber when I was about her age, I had a sunflower that I planted in the garden, I watered it every day and watched it grow, in the end it grew to over 8ft tall! That flower was awesome
