My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.
I have been getting really interested in reading new books lately. I have always been a big reader, but it’s only been recently that I have been branching out and getting new books, as opposed to reading the same ones over and over. Last week I bought four books from ebay, and this week I purchased four from Target, several from Wal-mart the one day I was there (oil change; that’s the only reason I lower myself to go into that soul sucking store), and borrowed three more from the library.
Right now I’m reading The Bright Side of Disaster. One thing that really stands out for me is the detail in which the female character, Jenny, goes on about breastfeeding. She doesn’t mention breastfeeding in a roundabout or factual way, simply because the author knows that breastfeeding happens and thought to mention it. No, breastfeeding is talked about and mentioned repeatedly and leads me to believe that the author herself has personal experience with it. That’s night. I like that a lot.
