My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. My 24th birthday is next Friday! Yes, a Friday the 13th birthday. I don’t think I’ve had one of those since my thirteenth birthday. Anyway, for the first time in over ten years, I’m having an actual birthday party. Dan and my mom are making plans to have a cake, some food, and of course, presents. Jason can’t make it to my party, so he’s taking me out for dinner on Tuesday. W00t.
And then… I’m almost more excited about this: an adult night swim at a local pool next Tuesday. Dan’s brothers are going to watch Alyssa and Ryan while Dan and I go. I have been wanting to go to this adult night swim for the last five or six years, since before we had Alyssa. Dan either outright refused to go, or conveniently “forgot” to ask off, or just didn’t bother to ask off because it wasn’t important to him. But this year he finally decided to ask off, so we’re going. I can’t wait! ♥
