Hello!

My name is Jenn, and I'm a 27 year old married and babied chick. In addition to a husband, a seven year old daughter, and a five year old autistic son, I also have four cats, three hermit crabs, two frogs, a few fish, and one snorty little Pug. I work from home doing a variety of writing and even some web design. I love blogging, digital photography and web design.

About Kitty.nu

Kitty.nu has been around for several years. Once upon a time it was home to my personal blog (you can find that over at Jenn.nu), but it now serves as an outlet for my domesticated and wifey type ramblings.

The beach, the beach, we’re going to the beach! I was privately lamenting that we may not be able to get the money together to go to the shore with my mom and brothers later this summer, and that also all of us together may spark some crowding and tension. Then, bam, an email from Dan’s aunt N! N and her husband, T, go to the shore every year for seven days.

(I’m sure you can see where this is going…)

They invited us to come down and spend a few days with them! I am SO stoked. No worries of having to get together money for 1-2 hotel rooms for 1-2 nights (a friend was telling me a hotel several blocks away from the boardwalk was still charging $170 per night!), or take two vehicles, or when we’ll go, or when Dan can get off, etc.

Instead, we have clear and concise directions to the apartment that N and T rent. Our cost to go? The gas to get there, and money for food and stuff at the beach! YAY YAY YAY!

Anyway, they’ll be there from June 21st through 28th. Dan is going to figure out his work schedule tomorrow. Hopefully we can leave in the late afternoon of such and such day (Dan would work that morning), spend the next two days there, and then come back in the evening. That would be ideal, and I hope it works out.

YAY YAY YAY! *dances around*

This is SO perfect. Alyssa has been begging to go to the beach, and I’ve been wanting to go myself, since I haven’t been there since 2003!

Exciting! Living in NZ, I always forget that some people live in places which aren’t a 20 minute drive away from the beach, haha!
Sounds fun though, I hope you guys can work it out with Dan’s job. :)

Hi Holly! You’re so lucky to be so close to the beach! It’s a two hour drive from here! :( And thank you! I too hope that everything works out. It should, one way or another. :D
