Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but ever since Ryan’s official diagnosis of autism on June 10th, 2008, it feels like life has been turbo charged, and I’m operating on the mantra of go, go, go. But then, I suppose a lot of that can be attributed to the fact that June was a very busy month. First there was Ryan’s appointment and evaluation on the 10th, my birthday on the 13th, Dan’s two sisters staying with us for a week, a three day vacation in Ocean City, NJ, a trip to Dorney Park, and several outings to the local pool, and three outings for mini-golfing. And the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life, work and weekly therapists (for Ryan) in between.
Whew. July started off the same way, and I am really hoping that things slow down. I barely have enough time for the things that need to be done, let alone the things I want to get done!
